Bill Clinton – “Decisions took us…”
Just tuned into Pres. Bill Clinton’s first rally for Barack Obama. He’s still one of the finest speakers in America today. He’s firing up the audience with a key beginning phrase, “decisions took us” as he lists how the decisions of the last 8 years have taken the country in the wrong direction. Then he turns it around and calls on the audience to make a decision in the next election. It’s a great example of masterful public speaking. And, let’s face it, he’s probably not half as fired up if he was giving the speech for Hillary, yet he’s giving a great stump speech.
Aside from being a very combative election, this campaign season is treating Americans to some great examples of persuasive speaking.
