Hope you all caught Michelle Obama’s speech tonight at the Democratic National Convention.  It was not only inspiring, but was a good example of an effective use of storytelling in a speech.  She weaved different anecdotes from her upbringing, as well as her life with Barack Obama.  I also liked the use of the word, “see,” which she used before several sentences.  It really served to make her approachable.  (Not that she has to be approachable.  We’re electing her husband, not her.)
